A Distinctive Boise Event Venue
8 Horses Lounge offers a private event setting unlike anywhere else in downtown Boise. Tucked beneath the historic 805 Idaho building, the lounge occupies the former vault space of Boise City National Bank. The original 15-ton vault door remains today, creating a memorable backdrop for celebrations, business gatherings, and special occasions.
Private events are available for groups of 10–100 guests, making 8 Horses an option for everything from intimate gatherings to larger private parties.

THE SPACE & EXPERIENCE
A Classic, Remixed
8 Horses isn’t a traditional Boise event hall—and that’s the point.
The lounge is tucked into the basement of the historic 805 Idaho building, originally home to Boise City National Bank. During construction, a team of eight horses hauled 14,000-pound sandstone blocks from Table Rock Quarry to create the building’s five-story façade.
Today, the original 15-ton bank vault door remains at the entrance to the space. What was once a working bank vault has been reimagined as an intimate downtown lounge built around outstanding drinks and real conversation.
For private events, that history provides something difficult to recreate: a venue with its own character.
Instead of decorating a blank event room and trying to create an atmosphere, you start with one.
